Hotel der Lennhof – Dortmund

We were at the stadium, and after Borussia Dortmund's 5-0 victory, an overnight stay at the Hotel "Der Lennhof" (formerly the BVB team hotel) was the perfect end to a perfect day. After a very friendly email exchange, they confirmed that every room had a painting of former BVB stars. And it did! Simply wonderful. The room was very charming. One small drawback, and therefore a one-star deduction, is that the building is really noisy. There was a wedding taking place, and we could hear all the neighbors going to their rooms until early morning. We could also hear all the noises coming from the rooms. Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want (except: I don't really like coffee that way, and unfortunately, there was no latte macchiato). Because of the wedding, we couldn't use the hotel restaurant. However, this wasn't a problem for us, as they informed us in advance, and we ate at the Italian restaurant nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, our stay was absolutely fantastic! And especially as BVB fans! We'd love to come back!! Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want (except: I don't really like coffee that way, and unfortunately, there was no latte macchiato). Thank you!!
