We were a party of six and dined at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was of a poor quality and, in our opinion, not commensurate with the price.
However, the service was far more disappointing. Throughout our entire visit, we had virtually no opportunity to order additional drinks. Instead, we felt largely ignored. We could have understood longer waiting times in a fully booked restaurant – but this was not the case that evening.
This impression continued when it came time to pay, and we again had to wait a considerable amount of time for service.
Overall, our visit was very disappointing. Especially in this price range, we expect not only high-quality food but also attentive and courteous service. Sadly, neither of these was present during our visit.
For this reason, we will not be returning.
It was lovely, it felt like being in Italy. The food was wonderful, excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back.
Fantastic restaurant. My wife and I have been coming to Il Gladiatore for years and yesterday we had a delicious fish platter and a very tasty, generously topped seafood pizza. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. See you soon and thank you!
