a week agoIn the heart of Alessandra Platz under the TV tower. Great positioning and close to several hotels. Good food at reasonable prices (both quality and quantity) and a good selection of beers and cocktails. Background music tasteful and unobtrusive. The staff are pleasant and attentive and all speak good English. Highly recommend Mio!

a week agoDON'T GO, OR AT LEAST CHECK THE BILL CAREFULLY BEFORE PAYING! They just tried to scam us at this place. They charged us without giving us the bill. €160 for a table of 4 (a bit pricey, but oh well, we paid). We asked for a copy of the bill even though we had already paid. They gave us excuses. They said the waiter had finished his shift and they couldn't make a copy, etc. After more than half an hour of insisting, we asked to speak to the manager and asked for a menu so we could add it up ourselves (suspecting they had overcharged us). The manager asked us how much we had eaten and how much they had charged us. He refunded the difference in cash (€20 extra they had charged us), without batting an eye, and said he would call the waiter later. Not even he believed it. They do this every day because the manager didn't even check what we had eaten. He took out his wallet and gave us the money because we were getting angry and he saw that things could get out of hand...
