Premier Inn Cologne City Süd hotel

Unfortunately, this time it was disappointing. I stayed at the same Premier Inn in December 2025 with a friend and was very satisfied. That's why I decided to book the hotel again – this time with my husband and our 5-year-old child. Unfortunately, this stay was significantly more disappointing. We had sent an email beforehand with our requests, which unfortunately could not be accommodated. The room was far too small for three people and didn't seem designed for three people at all. I practically couldn't get out of bed on my side; I had to crawl around my husband every time. Getting out from the front wasn't possible either, as there was a table right against the wall. I was essentially lying against the curtain. A sofa bed had been prepared for our child. It was extremely hard, and the springs were clearly visible through the mattress – definitely not comfortable for a child. We were also accommodated on the top floor, the 17th floor. Especially with a 5-year-old, I find it very questionable how one would get to the exit quickly and safely from that height in an emergency. This aspect honestly left me with a bad feeling. Unfortunately, our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. The towels weren't changed, the trash wasn't emptied, and fresh toilet paper wasn't provided. What was particularly annoying was that the cleaning cart was even parked right outside our door in the morning. Since there's no phone in the room, I had to go all the way down from the 17th floor to reception to complain about the missing towels. At least I got fresh towels there. Of course, I only noticed the missing toilet paper when I got back to the room. I also think the parking fee of €23 per night is far too expensive. In addition, we were asked on two of our nights whether we wanted room service. I understand this in principle – if you decide against it, it should at least be clearly communicated what won't be done. However, the fact that the trash wasn't emptied, the towels weren't changed, and the toilet paper wasn't replenished is unacceptable. It's a real shame, because I specifically chose this hotel again based on my positive experience in December. However, I would not book this room or the hotel in this form again for three people.

Muy lindo hotel, personal muy amable, si bien no está muy cerca de atracciones turísticas y puntos de interés, se puede llegar a pie en unos 20 minutos. Las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas, pero funcionales. Volvería.
