Salthouse Harbour Hotel and Spa

We had a lovely evening staying at the Salthouse Hotel and were very lucky to be kindly upgraded to a beautiful waterfront, dual-aspect room. 🌊 The room was stylish, spotless and beautifully presented, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — always a bonus! We also booked a table in the restaurant for our evening meal, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the whole experience was lovely. And one final recommendation… the Spicy Margarita is a must! 🍸🌶️ A wonderful stay and somewhere we’d happily return to.

Kate was my server this evening, what amazing customer engagement, really good attitude and behaviour. Food was absolutely brilliant and my scallops and rack of lamb was out of this world. My compliments to the chef! The Salthouse is a vibrant restaurant and a great selection of wines new and food. I strongly recommend this place if you are staying overnight or fancy a locally run fresh produce restaurant. I want to thank the management on the training of their staff and the wellbeing and manner in how they communicate with thier patrons, well done team! This is my regular bolt hole to stay and watch whenever I’m here for meetings. Avi Kana

Lovely lunch at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel, Ipswich. We had the fish and chips and pork belly both beautifully cooked and excellent quality. Great service, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
