# Stade Bollaert-Delelis

## Overview

## Where Lens Football Comes Alive

**Stade Bollaert-Delelis** is more than a **football stadium**; it is the beating heart of matchday in northern France. Located on Avenue Alfred Maes in **Lens**, this much-loved sports complex and event venue brings together devoted supporters, visiting fans, and anyone who appreciates the shared energy of live sport. The venue is known for creating a genuine sense of occasion from the moment the crowd begins to gather.

The atmosphere is the main attraction. Supporters describe fans singing with remarkable volume and passion, especially during the traditional performance of ‘Les Corons’. That chorus captures the pride and community spirit of Lens, turning a football fixture into an experience that feels deeply connected to the city. Visitors also highlight how friendly and welcoming the local supporters are, making the stadium an inviting destination even for those attending for the first time.

On big matchdays, the noise rises quickly and the stands become a powerful wall of sound. A memorable 4-0 victory over Monaco was praised for its **electric matchday atmosphere**, while regular visitors say the excitement is consistently impressive whenever the team plays at home. The strong connection between the club, its supporters, and the wider city gives every event a distinctive character.

Whether you are following Lens football, planning a sports-focused trip, or simply looking for an unforgettable live event in France, Stade Bollaert-Delelis is well worth visiting. Come for the match, stay for the songs, and experience the warmth, passion, and collective energy that make this stadium one of Lens’s essential destinations.
