This was a great price to stay and the rooms were nice, simple but had soap & body wash. Tea, coffee & biscuits. We had dinner here too, the service was slow and hard to get waitress attention but I think this is because we ate near their closing time (which is 9pm.) The food was really nice, I don't normally enjoy chips but their's were crispy on the outside and soft and juicy in the middle, almost like a roast potato. Lots of parking at the hotel too. My sister who is disabled was travelling on Wilford Lane on her mobility scooter when she got stuck on her scooter outside and was clearly distressed. I phoned the hotel up and explained the situation to the lady. They acted so swiftly and effecently and eased her from the stickiness she had gotten herself into. Absolutely fabulous service and response even though she wasn’t a guest at the hotel. The room was nice and comfortable, not to small or to big. The bed was big and cozy, but I found the lack of a shower hose at the shower a downside to it. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, the only bad part was the fact of not having any cheese or ham to go with the eggs or the option of a skimmed milk option. As for the people working there they were very friendly and helpfull.
