My wife and I first visited Otto a few years ago, shortly after it opened. We were absolutely thrilled with the unusual Italian cuisine. On our recent return visit, our enthusiasm was somewhat dampened. We ordered the six-course menu. The visual presentation on the plates leaves much to be desired. More attention to detail is needed. The seasoning was also rather sparse: nothing exciting! For health reasons, we don't drink alcohol; unfortunately, there were hardly any non-alcoholic beverage options, such as non-alcoholic wine. This wasn't offered, but still tap water was available for €7.50 per carafe. At least there was non-alcoholic Prosecco as an aperitif, but no non-alcoholic wine pairing, which is clearly a trend and has become standard practice in other upscale restaurants. The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. The ambiance was stylishly modern. I don't need to add any photos, as there are already plenty that speak for themselves. Except for the dessert, which visually stood out the most from the other five courses. However, it wasn't a culinary revelation.
