4 weeks agoI chose this hotel because it was cheaper than other options and had good reviews. The surrounding area isn't very safe. While there are a few shops nearby and I didn't feel particularly unsafe, I did hear police sirens twice during the night. Also, the room had absolutely no soundproofing; the door seemed secure, but I could hear outside noises so clearly it felt like the door was open. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who finds that stressful. For Wi-Fi, the front desk let me take a picture of the password on a piece of paper. The Wi-Fi was fast, which was great.

a month agoI was very satisfied with my two weeks stay at the Star Inn Hotel. I don’t know about all the rooms, but my room was small and ideal for one guest. It was very clean. The price is fair and it’s a great deal for business travelers. The couple running the hotel are friendly, courteous, and welcoming. They are business savvy, approachable, and not pompous. The location is very close to restaurants like El Pollo Loco, Subway, Egg N Bird, which has the best chicken and egg sandwich I’ve ever had, Mexican food restaurants and vendors, etc. Food 4 Less and a very nice laundromat is all within walking distance. I will definitely re-visit the Star Inn Hotel. I had a wonderful experience. - Mr. Wayne

a month agoClean, bathroom sliding door didn't close all the way, no elevator, small room no closet only like a side table with a couple of slots, microwave and fridge, tv, cable, a/c, parking, everything is a walk away, bank restaurants, salons, markets, shops
