In the city centre of Birmingham, Tattu Birmingham stands out as a striking Chinese restaurant that blends atmosphere, presentation, and flavour into one memorable experience. It is a popular pick for birthdays, date nights, and special dinners, thanks to its upscale feel and the kind of welcome that immediately puts guests at ease. From the entrance onward, the service is consistently described as warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful.
The menu earns plenty of praise for dishes that look as good as they taste, with favourites such as the dim sum platter, duck fried rice, and share-style plates that are perfect for a more indulgent night out. Diners love that the experience feels polished without being stiff, and many mention the staff’s helpful recommendations when choosing from the menu. If you are searching for a modern Chinese restaurant with a bold atmosphere, standout plating, and a premium feel, Tattu Birmingham is a destination worth booking.

in the last weekFantastic experience tasting the Imperial Sunday Roast menu at Tattu Birmingham today. Our main server, Mo, made the experience even more special from the onset. He was very hospitable, ensuring we were looked after at every stage in the dining experience. Compliments to the chefs: the food was phenomenal. Portion sizes were extremely generous and everything was very well-seasoned.

in the last weekLovely decor, food was nice but our experience felt ruined by being charged for water when there was no mention that it would be the price it was. Felt the upselling throughout which was a shame. Over £70 service charge put onto our bill as well which we did ask to remove to add our own optional tip. Definitely think charging for the still water is wrong given how much money they have off us whilst there!
