a week agoLast night, my wife and I went to the Derby Bar at this establishment for an aperitivo. I'd heard about it from friends; they said the quality of this bistro had improved significantly. We weren't familiar with it, but I have to say we were completely satisfied. The location is stunning, right on the street but still extremely private. The atmosphere was very relaxing and soothing despite the place being practically full. The decor was exquisite, but above all, the drinks were top-notch. The ingredients were carefully crafted and carefully selected, even going so far as to make the most of scraps, as is done in the finest restaurants. They also offer a drinks menu inspired by the adjacent racetrack, which greatly defines the place and the experience. I tried a delicious and super-balanced caipirinha, complete with pineapple chips as a garnish, echoing the importance of making the most of waste. My wife had a divine basil mojito, all accompanied by a platter of cured meats and cheeses and salmon brioche. It was a shame we had to leave due to scheduling issues, otherwise we would have tried other options, both for drinks and food, and we can't wait to visit you again. It's really hard to find places that offer drinks of this quality; you were truly a wonderful discovery.
