Stayed here for a couple of nights for work. Overall a really good stay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed, and the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Nice having the bar and restaurant downstairs too, especially after a long day when you donโt fancy heading back out. Food and drinks were good and there was a decent atmosphere in the evening. Location was fine for where I needed to be for work, although itโs a little out of the way if you want to be right in the centre of Bournemouth. Would happily stay again for another business trip.
Great stay at a great price. Chris in the bar /restaurant was really good and on the ball. Food in the restaurant was good but breakfast was a bit of a let down.
I visited the Village Hotel Bournemouth with my family a few weeks ago and had a fantastic meal. The food was absolutely amazing, and a special mention has to go to the Head Chef and his team, who were incredibly accommodating and did a brilliant job with all of our meals. The care and attention really made a difference, and I would definitely return for the food alone.
Despite the pub being extremely busy, the staff did a great job. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and attentive, which made for a really enjoyable experience.
My only complaint was that the Manager, Fabio (I believe that was his name), seemed to be in and out of the pub quite a bit during our visit despite it being extremely busy. When we tried to approach him to ask a question, he was rude and disrespectful towards us, and also towards the staff. When we were leaving and heading back to our cars, we also noticed him outside smoking and chatting.
Overall, though, we had a really enjoyable experience. Great atmosphere, great food and great service from the pub staff. I would definitely return and would happily recommend it to others.
