Was waiting for my taxi went into the pub to do a. Number 1 and I must the toilets were very manky oh dear won’t be visiting again even if I was desperate
Editing my 5* review three years on: Still 5*. The cherries is a proper boozer - decent pints, fantastic outdoor space (which sometimes has a jerk chicken BBQ popup), tons of football screens, great people, and proper palace vibes on matchdays. Edited my review as they were kind enough to stay open for the handful of us who wanted to watch the Scotland game from 11pm-1am, and I think that level of service from a pub should be recognised. Fantastic people, and a pub that deserves our patronage to keep it going. Not a food pub, but one of the few that feels unapologetically unchanged from 30 years ago - real living heritage. Original review below (thought tbh I tend to drink Staropramen the Guinness now)
Fantastic and friendly locals pub off match days, and a great place to watch the football.
Pours a decent Guinness and a genuinely excellent Staropramen (which is rare in London these days!)
