Hampton by Hilton London Croydon

Stayed here on 12th september 2026 till 13th september 2026 only for 1 night would stay again for afew days and already looking to book again all the staff were really helpful and needed afew things which were given to us within 5 to 10 minutes and were always checking up to see if we needed anything also beds are really comfy

Everything was great, especially the staff at breakfast, Rita was always smiling and helpful. Manoj was a good host and took care of everything

Honestly, this fell short of expectations. The front desk staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this hotel didn't have much more to offer. The rooms were tiny. The place was loud into the morning hours. There were holes in the curtains and our pillows were lumpy. We had an issue with the toilet. The maintenance man came. He flushed it, and of course it was the first time it worked properly after a dozen tries. So, okay, we're just a little embarrassed that we bothered him, but his horrible attitude made it much worse. We asked him to also take a look at the fridge. It was warm. Turns out they keep it off until you arrive... but... he literally wanted me to wait in the bathroom (I was not using it, he trapped me in there to open the closet where the mini fridge was), and growled at me to wait until HE was finished. Maybe I wouldn't have gone so hard on this place. I mean, it's Croydon, not London, but he really was nasty. To top it all off, the rates were not all that great for the region.
