Thomas: Cocktails, Celebrations and Dining on Stratumseind

Thomas brings together a lively restaurant, cocktail bar and social night out in the heart of Eindhoven. Set on Stratumseind, this welcoming destination suits birthdays, team outings, date nights and relaxed evenings that call for good food, polished drinks and an upbeat atmosphere. The setting finds a smart balance: energetic enough to feel like a celebration, yet elegant enough for a special occasion. It is the kind of place where a quick drink can naturally turn into dinner and a memorable night with friends.

Guests return for the thoughtful service as much as the food and drinks. The team is warm, attentive and professional, keeping the evening moving smoothly without making it feel rushed. Whether you are settling in for dinner or raising a glass with friends, the welcoming staff help make the experience feel personal. A dessert tree served at the end of the meal adds a playful finishing touch, especially when marking a birthday or another special moment.

The bar is a standout, with creative cocktails that are carefully balanced and consistently well made. Thomas also hosts engaging cocktail workshops, where groups can learn to prepare favorites such as a Cosmopolitan and Caipirinha. Non-alcoholic versions make the activity easy to enjoy together, while a friendly host adds useful tips and keeps the conversation flowing. For a more indulgent celebration, Tipsy Tea brings food, drinks and a playful shared experience to the table.

From a first drink to a full birthday dinner, Thomas gives every visit a sense of occasion. Come for the lively atmosphere, stay for the attentive hospitality, delicious food and easygoing energy that make this Stratumseind destination a natural choice for celebrations and memorable evenings in Eindhoven.

the behavior of the bouncers was completely unacceptable. I was fully sober, calm, and cooperative. When I went inside to get my jacket, I was asked not to bring an outside drink. I immediately complied and handed it over to the first bouncer without any resistance or argument.Suddenly, and for absolutely no reason, another bouncer rushed in and aggressively pushed me out of the venue I will definitely not come back here and advise others to be careful

Not a place to dine The three of us had dinner at Thomas. What I write does not stem from emotions. My principle is to write reviews as objectively as possible. Atmosphere: Great interior, great atmosphere. It looks like it might have been converted from an old theater. A very nice place to relax. The staff was helpful. Reservations: We noticed that when you want to make a reservation, the systems indicate that everything is fully booked. But when we arrived, 80% of the tables were free. Unless this is a strategy where only a small percentage of the tables can be reserved and the rest are kept free for walk-ins, they need to adjust this. Otherwise, they will lose customers. Food: We ordered a vegetarian dish (baba ganoush), sirloin steak, and grilled chicken. The portions are small, but the prices are also low. There is little variety. There are no snacks and not even bread that you can order. To be honest, we were still hungry when we finished. I don't want to be unnecessarily negative, but... the taste was just plain bad. The website advertises Asian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean cuisines. We are quite familiar with those cuisines. My wife couldn't finish the baba ganoush. She couldn't understand how eggplant could be prepared so poorly. Normally, grilled sirloin is a safe choice, just like vanilla ice cream, if you know what I mean. But the toppings and side dishes were bad, which meant I couldn't enjoy it either. Come on, guys... you really need to work on this. Sorry. Conclusion: Come here for a drink [in case the chef adds some snacks to the menu]. The atmosphere is great, but don't come here for dinner.
