Today we visited Goldberg in Leipzig's city center for the second time – and our second visit was even better than the first! The food was excellent, and we were particularly impressed by the service: warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly. All our requests were catered to, making us feel completely at ease.
Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful evening. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend Goldberg!
The food was excellent, the service a flop. The waitstaff should definitely take a course in "customer service." It certainly doesn't make a good impression when one server is engaged in a long private conversation at the next table, including taking a selfie, and later answers my request for the forgotten cutlery with her mouth full; another server also forgets the promised wine cooler; and finally, the third server (the manager?) keeps other guests company in a private setting for an extended period, resulting in a lively and loud conversation at the table in question.

Wir waren heute im Goldberg in Leipzig und waren rundum begeistert! Als Vorspeisen hatten wir unter anderem die Zucchini-Chips, die Panko-Garnelen und den Rote-Bete-Salat. Alles war super lecker – mein persönliches Highlight waren die Panko-Garnelen: wirklich beeindruckend groß und geschmacklich klasse!
Auch die Hauptgerichte haben uns überzeugt. Ob Königsberger Klopse, Schweinefilet, Waldpilzrisotto oder Camembert – wir waren alle sehr zufrieden.
Das Lokal macht mit seinem schönen Ambiente über mehrere Etagen richtig was her, und auch der Außenbereich wirkt sehr einladend. Dazu kamen eine ausgesprochen freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr sympathischer Chef. Wir haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt.
Eine tolle Adresse, um etwas zu feiern oder einfach schön essen zu gehen. Klare fünf von fünf Sternen – wir kommen gerne wieder!
