Stazione Frosinone is the city’s key train station, located on Via Don Minzoni and serving as an important arrival point for daily commuters and travelers passing through Frosinone. With its central position and easy access to the surrounding streets, it remains a practical starting point for getting around the city and reaching nearby destinations. Visitors mention the station’s impressive architecture and note that it can feel like a convenient, well-connected transport hub, especially for those looking for straightforward rail connections.
What stands out most is how the station continues to play a crucial role in local mobility. Many travelers appreciate the sense of efficiency and the friendly atmosphere that can make transit feel smoother, while others see it as a classic gateway to the city. At the same time, it’s a place that clearly reflects the need for ongoing care and improvement, from platform comfort to accessibility. If you’re traveling by rail in Frosinone, Stazione Frosinone remains the main point of reference for catching trains and starting your journey with minimal fuss.

a week agoA small station on a branch line. Work is underway to renovate the entire facility, so passengers are experiencing significant inconvenience due to barriers, blockages, and closures. To enter and exit, there are secondary and very awkward entrances and exits. The ticket office and cafeteria are located in containers outside the station.

a week agoEasy to navigate station. Free parking next to it. There was work being done in the area but clear signs pointing you in the right direction. Very helpful staff onsite. Spotlessly clean toilets.

a week agoExtensive renovation work is underway at the station, its square, and the surrounding streets, as is the case with almost all stations on the Rome-Frosinone route. It may be a coincidence, but since Salvini became Minister of Transport, much of the national rail network has been undergoing modernization work.
