The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles

For my birthday this year, my husband and I decided to enjoy a little staycation in Los Angeles. We wanted to try a restaurant we’d been looking forward to and catch The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm, so The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles was the perfect choice. It’s conveniently located next to Regal LA Live and only about five minutes from the restaurant we wanted to visit. From the moment we arrived, William made us feel welcome with his warm and personable personality. From there, the exceptional service continued throughout our entire stay. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. A special thank you to Anthony at the front desk. I mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday, and later that evening we were surprised with a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake delivered to our room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my birthday feel even more special. The hotel is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the service exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely stay here again whenever we’re in Los Angeles. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday celebration so memorable!

Mile high club

Seriously cannot say enough good things about this Ritz Carlton. We typically choose to stay at a Ritz...this was our first time in this location. We had a few people "warn" is about the area before we came to town and recommended other locations. Just no. So glad we didn't listen to them. I agree with other posters - the service here is TOP NOTCH. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful and kind. We stayed club level, and oh my, the food, the service, the atmosphere...all exceptional. We LOVED all our club level friends. They were so accommodating to us - from our business needs to our tween daughters to my love of mimosas and wine (which they knew!), they anticipated and accomodated our every need and desire. The place was exceptionally clean, smelled wonderful (the entire hotel, not just the club). We stayed in an executive suite and it was absolutely amazing - spacious and accommodated our needs perfectly. It was super quiet and ensured a great night's sleep. The rooftop pool was fun, water was warm, atmosphere was relaxed...they had sunscreen, waters and towels out for all to use, along with comfortable dinning chairs and couches and lounge areas. Just WOW. We cannot WAIT to come back.

Beautiful Property, Cut Short by Uneven Dining Service ​The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey is a beautiful resort, and most of the staff members I encountered were very nice. However, my dining experience left a lot to be desired. ​During one visit to the main dining area, the waiter completely ignored me and never came by to take my order. I wasn't sure if it was because I was wearing a white wristband for resort pass customers, but the lack of acknowledgement was really disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. After that, I avoided eating on that side of the resort entirely and opted to dine on the other side of the hotel instead, where my food voucher was properly recognized and handled without any issues. ​It’s a lovely location, but the service consistency—especially in the restaurant—needs improvement.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles while celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Andres, Anthony, and Nicholas for their outstanding help throughout our stay. They were polite and courteous, and went out of the way to make sure that we have an amazing experience at the Ritz Carlton. Huge appreciation to Victoria and Josh for taking such great care of us in the Club Lounge. Victoria and Josh were very friendly and customer service at the Club Lounge was amazing. They all made our celebration truly memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
