a week agoIf I could give Crown Shy more than five stars, I would. I’ve been twice, and both times the dishes and cocktails were sensational. Different, unique, but meshed so well and managed to still feel harmonious. The vibe is chic without being pretentious, and the entire space has a warm and comforting feeling while still feeling cool. The restaurant feels perfectly curated - ambiance and music elevated the space without feeling pretentious. The menu alone is enough of a reason to have dinner here, but what made our meal so special was the incredible touch that our server Charles added. His vibrance and energy was so infectious and you could tell how genuinely passionate he is about the food. In a world (and city) where often you hear people more times than not complaining about the service they received, I urge you to experience a meal here with Charles at the helm. You will not be disappointed in such a special meal. This is an NYC standout for me!

a week agoThis place is an instant classic... felt like old school NYC. Vibey, electric, the food is truly IMMACULATE. But CHRIS - who attended to us, went above and beyond and made an incredible meal into an extraordinary experience. His energy is unlike anything I've seen and he was a genuine pleasure to spend a few hours with. He's an incredible person and I hope that YOU get a chance to dine with him.
