in the last weekMy husband and I had a lovely time at Per Se. First off, the location of the restaurant--which has views of Columbus Circle--was perfect. The courses were great, especially their signature cone dish as well as their classic oyster and pearls dish which were both amazing. Finally, the onslaught of desserts at the end was truly the icing on the cake. The only thing I didn't like was the soft shell crab but that's a personal preference. The attention to detail from the staff was impeccable. I loved almost every moment.

a week agoAnother stellar experience. We did Le Bernardin for lunch and Per Se for dinner. Capping the day off at Per Se was perfect. Different yet equally as stellar experience. And man it was closed out like the perfect movie or show with a final main dinner plate and an array of perfect desserts. Like the perfect grand finale! What we had … "OYSTERS AND PEARLS"* "Sabayon" of Pearl Tapioca with Island Creek Oysters and Regis Ova Hybrid Caviar MONTAUK YELLOWFIN TUNA* Crispy Garlic Scapes, Nasturtium Petals, Sweet Garlic "Potage," and Regis Ova Supreme Caviar BUTTER-POACHED MAINE LOBSTER "Pommes Maxim's," Spring Onions, Garden Parsley, and Razor Clam "Nage" ELYSIAN FIELDS FARM LAMB* "Ratatouille," Herb-Crusted Squash, Jimmy Nardello Peppers, Eggplant "Béchamel," and Moroccan Olive Jus The mixed desserts were AWESOME!!! The Lamb was PURE PERFECTION.
