in the last weekThe room was dark. We got it with dirty towels but they changed into clean ones. At night there was a lot of noise so we couldn't sleep. Breakfast was good

in the last weekThe location is definitely the hotel's strong point. The room is nice, but very small, and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The third bed was an open sofa bed, of decidedly poor quality—frankly, not up to par with a real bed. The worst part, however, was undoubtedly the welcome at reception. As soon as we arrived, we said hello and told them we had a reservation. After being asked for our documents, the first thing they asked us, practically within a minute of entering, was to pay for the room. All of this was done with a cold, hasty, and unprofessional attitude, which didn't make us feel welcome in the slightest. What made the situation even more unpleasant was the communication. We clearly explained that we spoke little English, but the receptionist continued speaking very quickly, without even bothering to check if we were understanding. He answered our questions in English at breakneck speed, as if the problem were solely ours. We certainly don't expect the staff to speak Italian, but a minimum amount of patience, helpfulness, and customer service should be the bare minimum, especially when language barriers become apparent. The location is excellent, but a good location can't make up for an uncomfortable room and, above all, such an unprofessional welcome. The initial impression was decidedly negative, and unfortunately, it remained so.
