3 weeks agoI was forced to pay again, as my proof of first payment was not accepted (through Expedia). Until now (a week later) I am waiting for a refund. Expedia helpdesk tried their best and reported back that Premier Inn staff don't pick up the phone and don't cooperate to solve it. I heard from other guests that Premier Inn staff tried to make them pay again as well. So it could be a deliberate strategy. Also, the service is extremely poor. There was only toast, butter and jam for breakfast, no cheese, ham, eggs, etc. We paid for full breakfast and we didn't get a refund. We had booked a deluxe room. We asked for an extra bedsheet (to replace the thick duvet) but they couldn't deliver. The inner curtain from the window fell off and revealed a very dirty window. (with ugly view on a building site). Conclusion: don't book this hotel, although the location is handy

3 weeks agoPremier Inn London Tottenham Hale hotel. It's a good hotel because it's located opposite Tottenham bus station. You have to pay in advance through an American website. There's no room service in the evening. There's a machine to get your room key. You have to ask for service. Hot water is rationed. It's not exactly cheap. But the city is expensive.
