in the last weekThe hotel is in the middle of a renovation to a level that it should not be offered to guests. The rate was around market and there is literally only a few rooms and the checkin reception that was available. I find it clearly inappropriate to offer any accommodation at this state.

2 weeks agoWe stayed at this hotel for a weekend and were unfortunately very disappointed. There were problems right from check-in, as we apparently weren't checked in properly. As a result, the staff didn't know our room was occupied and later entered it twice without knocking. Furthermore, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations. The construction work was clearly visible in both the rooms and the common areas. However, we weren't informed about this before our arrival or at check-in. What was particularly annoying was that we had booked breakfast. Only after we inquired were we initially told they would have to check where breakfast was served. Shortly afterward, we were informed that breakfast wasn't being offered at all. We hadn't been informed of this beforehand either. In addition, basic amenities such as a kettle and a hairdryer were missing from the room. Overall, we unfortunately felt that there was a lack of organization and communication. Renovations can happen, but guests should be informed in a timely manner, and booked services should either be offered or communicated transparently. For these reasons, we unfortunately cannot give our stay a positive review.
