Arthotel ANA Fleur | Paderborn

Wir haben auf der Fahrt in den Urlaub hier eine Nacht verbracht und hatten zu viert ein Appartment in einem Haus in der Nähe vom Hotel. Dort könnte man auch gut länger Urlaub machen, es gab ein geräumiges Zimmer, ein großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne und eine ordentlich ausgestattete Küche. Das Haus war ruhig und gut gelegen - es ist allerdings von Vorteil, wenn man einen Koffer mit Rollen hat, weil der Parkplatz nicht direkt am Hotel ist (aber fußläufig gut erreichbar, auch für kleine Kinder). Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und sehr gut, das Personal beim Frühstück und an der Rezeption sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Großzügiges DZ mit Klimaanlage. Sehr sauber und viele, öffentliche Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ich erschien später nach den Rezeptionszeiten. Durch vorherige Absprache mit dem Hotelteam und Online-Check-In lief alles reibungslos.

Gute Gastronomie in der Nähe. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen.

The rooms have no air conditioning, which is quite indicative of the hotel's age. The carpet is very stained—not just a little, but absolutely filthy. There are no electrical outlets by the bed. The windows face the street, making it very noisy, even though the windows are very well insulated. But summer, no air conditioning, and not being able to open the windows = very unpleasant. However, if you do open the windows, cigarette smoke from the people puffing away in front of the hotel drifts into your room within a minute.

We stayed in Paderborn as a couple for a few nights on a private trip and would book this hotel again due to its excellent location. The cathedral is about a five-minute walk away, and Maspernplatz parking is right next door – ideal for exploring the city center. Our room was clean, odor-free, and the air conditioning worked perfectly even on warm days. The mattresses are rather firm, which we liked. Those who prefer a softer mattress should ask for a mattress topper. However, the breakfast buffet didn't quite meet our expectations. Since there are good bakeries and lovely cafés nearby – we especially recommend the Mühlencafé – this wasn't a major issue for us. We noticed that some of the staff had limited German language skills. Overall, however, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, especially the excellent location, so we would choose this hotel again.
