Frozen food is the right word.
The mushrooms in the Snoorpfännle (a type of pasta) were canned. The fish platter came with frozen vegetables and boiled rice. I could have cooked that at home; there's no need to go to a restaurant for that. The staff was friendly, and the location was quaint and rustic.
Delicious food right in the heart of Schnorr. Owner Johannes has everything under control – friendly, competent, and with a calm and collected approach.
Would gladly return.
As a second time visitor to Bremen I was wanting a traditional German restaurant experience. Felt welcomed and was able to communicate in English.
Lovely old building. Comfortable seats.
Service was efficient and staff friendly.
Food serves were generous - I really enjoyed my pork schnitzel, potatoes and egg. My dining partners scraped their plates clean.
I would definately return for another meal.
