I stopped by on my way back from the deep south. I booked via Volagratis to use up some remaining credit at the modest sum of €119, after seeing that there was a pool and that the rooms on Google Maps had jacuzzis. I figured I'd be able to use at least one or the other. I called in the afternoon to confirm check-in times and discovered that the pool wasn't available after 7:00 PM. The lady on the phone even had "doubts" that I could use it, and given the amount I'd paid, I was even scared. I arrived shortly before 7:00 PM and couldn't use the pool due to the bad weather. The lady told me, "We've reserved room X for you on the first floor," and I thought, "Oh, what can I say? Wow?" I grabbed my key, went up, and saw a dull, anonymous, and tiny room that was definitely not worth €119. For the record, the average rate for other hotels/B&Bs immediately adjacent didn't exceed €80 a night. I did some research and discovered a Testani Suite, different from the Hotel Testani, next door. It matches the Hotel Testani's photos on Google Maps. The price for the same evening, booking at 8:00 PM, is €140!! The room is huge and has a Jacuzzi. I'd like to go down and discuss it, offering €20-30 to change rooms, but I don't have the energy or inclination after a six-hour drive. Read this review so you can do things properly next time.
