in the last weekOur stay at the Hotel Histórico Central was excellent. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable; in general, all the facilities are spotless, well-maintained, and very pleasant. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi signal works very well throughout the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and it was a pleasant surprise to find the 24-hour café, where everything we tried was delicious. We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches like the water and apples available on each floor and the little treat they leave on the pillows. The location is unbeatable, as you can walk to many of the most important landmarks in the Historic Center. I especially want to highlight the staff's attentiveness; I think the young man who helped me was named Brandon, but I don't remember his name exactly. During our first night, we had a problem with our room. It was next to a drainpipe that was automatically turning on, making quite a bit of noise. When we reported it, they offered us a different room, and the problem was resolved. They even left a small bottle of wine in the new room, a lovely touch that we appreciated. We also took the walking tour offered by the hotel, and we highly recommend it. The guide knew every place we visited perfectly, explained everything in a very engaging way, and made the walk so enjoyable that the three hours flew by, even for us with children. Last but not least, I want to acknowledge the kindness of all the staff: the cafeteria, the breakfast room, reception, housekeeping, the doorman, and the bellhops. I hope I haven't forgotten to mention any department; everyone was attentive and helpful. I hope to return soon :)
