Station Brugge NMBS is a practical starting point for exploring Brugge and traveling across Belgium. Located at Stationsplein 5, this important railway hub connects passengers with a wide range of destinations, making it useful for daily commutes, city breaks, family outings, and seaside trips. Services toward the coast can become busy, especially when travelers are heading to the beach, but the station remains an essential link for getting around the region.
Although it serves a steady flow of passengers and attracts many visitors, the station is notably neat, clean, and well maintained. A dedicated seating area gives travelers somewhere to pause between connections, while the station coffee facilities offer a convenient refreshment before departure. Clean, well-kept toilets are also available for a small fee. Helpful staff are on hand to assist with train tickets and travel information, including directions, platforms, schedules, and onward connections.
Drivers benefit from a free park-and-ride car park, which makes Station Brugge NMBS especially convenient for meeting friends or family, arranging a pickup, or continuing a journey without bringing a car into the city center. a week agoBruges, the most beautiful historic city in Europe, has preserved almost all of its medieval architecture. I highly recommend a visit, especially to its historic center. The train station, built in the 1930s, is compact, modern, well-maintained, clean, and comfortable for all travelers. Announcements are made in four languages: French, English, Dutch, and German. Several display boards show the train schedules. Luggage lockers of various sizes are available, which is very convenient. Uniformed staff are present throughout the station to provide information and sell tickets.

a week agoThe train journey from Ghent to Bruges in Belgium takes only half an hour, which is quick and convenient, but it's very crowded and all seats are taken, so you'll have to stand for the entire trip. Upon arrival, you can easily transfer to the De Lijn bus to get into the city center.
