in the last weekWe had a wonderful two-night stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and our marina view was amazing. The food was excellent, the drinks were great, and the restaurant staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. We also had a great experience in the lounge on our first day. I believe our server’s name was Katrina, and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. The service in the lounge on our second day wasn’t quite as attentive, and we did sit for a little while before being acknowledged, but once someone came over, we were taken care of. Our only real complaint with the room was that we found several ants wandering around the bathroom counter on both days of our stay. It wasn’t enough to ruin our experience, but it is something that should probably be addressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Between the beautiful marina setting, delicious food and drinks, clean hotel, and especially the wonderful restaurant staff, this was a great part of our getaway. We would happily come back!

a week agoI tried to book a room here for a business trip. When I made the reservation, the booking clearly stated that all resort fees were included in the total cost. The final amount at booking showed an additional $91.00 in taxes and fees. However, when I received my confirmation email, an additional $92.56 was added to my total cost with no explanation. I emailed the hotel but never received a response, so I called them. I was told that these were additional resort fees that were not included in the original booking cost. At that point, the taxes and fees were nearly as much as the room itself. I ultimately cancelled the reservation and will book elsewhere. The lack of transparency around the actual cost was disappointing, and I would not feel comfortable booking here again.
