Novotel Freiburg am Konzerthaus

Matig hotel - niet waardig voor het chique Novotel label, prijs/kwaliteit niet in orde. Geen functionerende airco op de kamer, geen kluis, extreem oude kamers, versleten en vieze vloerbedekking. Kamer is haastig schoongemaakt, ik voelde de noodzaak om overal actief de hygiëne te checken. Inchecken was een drama, duurt veel te lang, ongeïnteresseerde/hautaine medewerker terwijl er geen rij was of andere gast om in te checken / gastvrijheid voor €275 p/n is een glimlach en vriendelijk welkom. Ontbijt is voldoende maar inspiratieloos, voorgekookte eieren van de dag ervoor en zwart van binnen kan echt niet bij 4-sterren! Beveiligd parkeren is fijn, maar prijzig. Locatie is goed. Freiburg is top, hotel een flop. Avoid.

The hotel is very central and convenient for getting around on foot. The room was spacious and well-maintained, but the decor and style are 1970s, the minibar was nonexistent, and above all, the staff was unhelpful. To find out there was a wellness area, we had to overhear another conversation because the receptionist wouldn't bother to tell us. When asked about it, he provided the requested information, but that's not how it's done. For €240 (EXCLUDING breakfast) a night, you have to do more.
