in the last weekThere were two of us for dinner, a chef's tasting menu and a mini tasting menu. Regarding the food, there's nothing to complain about; the dishes exude refinement and meticulous attention to detail, which shines through throughout, consistently and harmoniously in the dishes themselves. A small point about the desserts, which, while very good, perhaps aren't up to the standard of the rest of the courses. Finally, there's nothing to complain about about the service; Paolo, the man who accompanied us, proved competent and professional. It's fair to point out, however, that during a tasting menu, the cutlery should be changed between courses. At the same time, I realize the restaurant doesn't market itself as a haute cuisine establishment, but precisely because there's a gray area, perhaps it's worth defining a target audience. If you wanted to offer serious, professional cuisine, it might be worth considering this aspect as well.

a week agoDesondanks goede reviews, waren wij sterk ontgoocheld in het eten. Sint-Jacobs richt was overcooked en chuwy. Olijvencouscous was veel te overheersend olijf. En alles was sterk gezouten. Zeker niet in verhouding met de prijs die men vraagt voor 5gangen. En de glimlach van de ober verdween toen hij onze eerlijke feedback hoorde. Jammer, was opbouwend bedoeld. Was onze enige ontgoocheling op een 12-daagse rondreis in Italië.

a week agoTellement, mais tellement bon! Nous avons pris le menu dégustation (4 services) et tout était excellent! Le décor est super agréable et le service était super sympathique, surtout quand nous avons été confrontés à la liste de 800+ vins... La proposition de notre serveur était parfaite! Nous avons adoré!
