A complete disappointment – inflexible and unclean!
As a regular in Freiburg, I wanted to visit the Skajo Bar again today. Four weeks ago, there were several dogs in the outdoor area. Since the bar also has an enclosed restaurant area, the "No dogs allowed" sign is misleading anyway, which is why I assumed an exception for the open terrace with its beer garden atmosphere.
Today, however, we were turned away by the staff – despite the bar being almost empty. While the explanation was polite, the strict interpretation of the rule when there were hardly any customers is completely incomprehensible.
What I absolutely cannot accept, however, is the state of the bar: Upon entering, we were met with an extremely dirty scene. The terrace floor was heavily stained and clearly poorly cleaned. With such a lack of basic hygiene, the owner shouldn't be so arrogant – my dog is certainly cleaner than one in three guests they let in.
This bar will definitely not see me again. Anyone who claims premium standards should first clean up their own act and ensure cleanliness.

The 9.50€ lillet wildberry contained no alcohol whatsoever. First time something like this happened to me in Germany.
Cash only under 10 eur.
The view is not bad, but the terrace is super noisy and I got a headache.
No soap or paper towels in the toilet.
I can only speak for the rooftop bar, as I didn't visit the restaurant: Impressive view of the Freiburg Minster. Large selection of drinks.
Prices are acceptable considering the ambiance and location.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Windproof and warm clothing is recommended. Carpets are available if needed.
In my opinion, a highlight of any visit to Freiburg.
