2 weeks agoCame all the way from Australia wanted a good hotel well located and booked the barkston, from the minute i walked in Aziz ( sorry if I spelt wrong) made my experience incredible. I would rate it 6 stars if I could! A big thank you to him and the hotel. Super impressed! Will definitely be back

a month agoA really lovely hotel, with a great location just 3 minutes from the Piccadilly Line, in a quiet residential area. The hotel is very clean, renovated, and tastefully decorated, and the staff is very helpful. My only complaint is that the doors to each room aren't soundproofed; you can hear everything that's going on in the hallway, and if you have a room like mine next to the elevator, it's really unpleasant. Also, not all rooms have a refrigerator; mine, which was a standard double room, didn't have one, which isn't ideal in the middle of summer... but otherwise, it's very good value for money. I still recommend it!

2 months agoI stayed at The Barkston for 10 nights for work (and Wimbledon). The room renovations, lighting and styling are excellent. Good linen and bathroom product. Excellent use of space in the rooms. I didn't miss a minibar. The location can't be beaten- everything is at your doorstep. Aqeel and his team were extremely helpful - 24 hour reception is great. I will be back. Recommend.
