I've stayed here for 5 days with my parents, as our first time in germany. The location is pretty good, very close to the cathedral and everything else. The rooms are ok, no kettle or tea, the pillows are square for some reason, the showers are quite hard to use, beds were ok however the sound isolation are not good, our upstair neighbour was super noisy that we couldn't sleep. Everything aside, the staff makes up for it, especialy the lady at the reception was super friendly she was super helpfull despite us checking out. Everyone else was also super nice, i hope they get paid well :P

We stayed at this hotel from Friday to Sunday. Upon arrival, we received a friendly welcome at reception. Both the reception staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was rather basic and nothing special, but perfectly adequate. It had two beds, a small refrigerator, and a bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel's location was also good, as it was not far from the train station. Unfortunately, we were woken up in the morning by an extremely strong and almost unbearable stench. We went outside the hotel, hoping it would be better there. However, the smell was even worse outside than inside the hotel. When we inquired, we were told that the stench was coming from the restaurant next door. Unfortunately, no further explanation or solution was offered. We initially hoped that the smell would dissipate during the day. Unfortunately, it didn't improve; in fact, it got worse. The smell was still present on Sunday, our departure day. The stench severely impacted our stay. The smell was so strong at times that even our trousers and shoes absorbed it. This was particularly unpleasant for us and significantly detracted from what was otherwise a decent stay.

Very nice night shift manager, clear communication and easygoing. The room was very nice. I enjoyed my overnight stay!
