in the last weekThe DoubleTree Hotel was very comfortable with clean rooms and a cozy bar. The staff was always very friendly. Right next to the hotel is a small park where smokers liked to sit. The hotel is somewhat hidden; around the corner in both directions, you'll find several restaurants, pubs, and bars. We were here by tour bus. On the first day, we drove in and tried to go around the back. There were a lot of cars parked on both sides, making it quite tight. There's no parking for the bus at all. Every day, we ended up backing in to let the passengers off and then driving to the Tower Hill underground parking garage. Anyone arriving by tour bus should therefore expect a journey time of at least an hour. We always ordered an Uber. It always worked perfectly, and the drivers were always super nice and helpful.
