Michael was incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, and his passion for the menu added so much to the experience. The service was outstanding and precise throughout the evening, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The food had incredible depth of flavor, with each course offering a unique and memorable taste experience. The only aspect we felt could be improved was the repeated offers of an additional 7th course after we had already selected the set menu. While we appreciated being presented with options, it felt a little unnecessary to be asked multiple times, given that we had already committed to the 6-course tasting experience. Overall, Alo provided a wonderful celebration and a dining experience we will remember. I would highly recommend Alo for special occasions or anyone looking for an exceptional fine dining experience.

in the last weekOk. I’m a deep foodie at heart and had a storied life at the front of the house so I’m pretty judgy but even more appreciative of a well run machine and I was blown away by Alo. Easily the best dining experience I have ever had, or may ever have, with food and service beyond par. Think of season 2 of The Bear when Richie stages, you get that front of the house exceptional customer experience that you don’t even notice. Our sommelier, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, was a phenom level of info and detail with the wine pairing notes. The food was soooooo good and deep in flavours. It was near tear inducing to experience the level of great. Highly recommend if you want to put a toe in true food and dining class. We ripped the 10 course chefs menu at the counter and it is the way to go for sure. And follow their recc for wine pairings. To add to this, we had a tight timeframe to catch a flight and they rolled with it as if we had all night. And I think we have a reservation card of the night with meal notes as a memento that helps remember the night. More stars to give if I could. 🔥🔥🔥
