Good location, a bit noisy, especially when it's warm with all the fans running. Plus point: you can get in day and night.

A 40-minute walk from the city center along the estuary. A quiet, slightly hot spot with basic amenities for a relaxing stay. The bed linens, towels, and room were clean, but the bathroom wasn't as hygienic. The staff were excellent, explaining and providing everything you needed.

The service and check-in were excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. It was quite hot and the fans were very noisy, which was the only downside. The men's restroom was a bit run-down. If they put in a little more effort, they could become a quality hostel.

My daughter is there right now. (July 9 - 11) She reserved a bed in the women's dorm. It will be 96 degrees/ 35'5 celsius on Saturday and the air conditioning is not working. She reserved a room thinking she would have air conditioning because she knew it was going to be hot in Bilbao and the the website says the hostel has air conditioning. I don't think it is fair to say there is air conditioning in the hostel if it doesn't, especially considering the temperature in the area is dangerously hot.

Very convenient and welcoming to the hostel. Very close to the estuary (in my case, the Camino de Santiago started right there) and with several supermarkets nearby. The kitchen has everything you need to cook.
