JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt

Das bisher schwächste Hotel aus dem Marriott-Portfolio, das ich kenne. Wenn man im Internet recherchiert, erfährt man, das u.a. dieses Haus von einer externen Firma für Marriott betrieben wird. Deutliche Mängel beim Service, mehrere Mitarbeiter:innen sind nicht motiviert und wirken wie fehl am Platz: beispielsweise eine Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück, die ich freundlich nach einem Spiegelei gefragt habe und die daraufhin ihr Gesicht verzogen hat. Zimmer sind teils abgewohnte und nicht besonders saubere Zimmer des ehemaligen Jumeirah-Hotels. Das Hotel Marriott am Frankfurter Flughafen ist in jeder Hinsicht (Service, Sauberkeit, etc.) um Welten besser.

Great location, excellent room service — but a few things don’t feel quite 5-star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed my stay at JW Marriott Frankfurt, especially the room service food, which was surprisingly good and definitely one of the highlights. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is connected to the shopping mall, and you’re surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and stores within a very easy walking distance. If shopping and exploring central Frankfurt are part of your trip, the location is hard to beat. That said, I was surprised by how small the lobby feels for a hotel of this level. I also really missed having a super-fast laundry and ironing service. For business travelers in particular, being able to get a shirt or suit pressed quickly can make a big difference, and I would expect that flexibility from a 5-star hotel. Parking can also be quite tricky, especially when arriving for the first time. The access and directions are not as straightforward as you might expect, so it’s worth checking exactly where to enter before you arrive. Important note: don’t miss the amazing Belgian waffle served at the breakfast! It’s the best in town

The JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt continues to set the standard for exceptional hospitality. I have visited this property multiple times, and every time I walk through the doors, I am greeted with such genuine warmth that I feel less like a guest and more like family. There are many beautiful luxury hotels in the world, but what truly makes this hotel special is its people. I want to recognize several outstanding members of the team who have made my experiences here unforgettable. Arsen went above and beyond during a previous visit when I was experiencing a very tedious and frustrating problem with a new phone I had just purchased from the Apple Store across the street. He patiently assisted me until I was able to get my footing and resolve the situation. It was certainly not something he was required to do, but his willingness to help demonstrated the genuine spirit of hospitality that I have come to associate with this hotel. During my most recent stay, Yosimin checked me in and was incredibly professional, cordial, and welcoming. She immediately made me feel at home and helped set the tone for another wonderful stay. Then there is Donovan, the Assistant Front Office Manager. Donovan is truly one of a kind. His attention to detail and ability to make guests feel genuinely valued are remarkable. He remembers people, anticipates needs, and consistently adds personal touches that transform a hotel stay into an experience. This visit was especially important to me because I was celebrating my birthday. When deciding where I wanted to spend such a special night, choosing the JW Marriott Frankfurt was easy. Donovan made the occasion even more memorable by masterminding a wonderful birthday surprise that included a beautifully designed cake, a special drink, and a thoughtful personal message. It was an incredibly kind gesture that I will not forget. My birthday celebration continued Thursday evening at GRETA OTO, and the experience was phenomenal. Maja took exceptional care of us throughout dinner. She was attentive, personable, professional, and made certain that everything was to our satisfaction. Ali, the Restaurant and Bar Manager, also personally stopped by our table to check on us and made my birthday even more special by surprising me with a beautiful birthday plate and a complimentary birthday drink. It was the perfect ending to an already exceptional evening. Special thanks to Arsen, Yosimin, Donovan, Maja, and Ali. Each of you played a meaningful role in making my stay exceptional and in my continued loyalty to the JW Marriott Frankfurt. I also want to recognize General Manager Mr. Bolger Hanselmann. The consistency of service throughout this property speaks volumes about the leadership and culture he has created. His team is doing an extraordinary job of bringing the JW Marriott brand’s commitment to luxury hospitality to life. Beautiful hotels can be found throughout the world, but beautiful buildings alone do not create memorable experiences. People do. At the JW Marriott Frankfurt, I do not simply feel welcomed. I feel valued, remembered, and at home. An exceptional hotel, an exceptional team, and truly five star hospitality. I look forward to returning again and again.
