in the last weekAbsolutely awful customer service- needed to change the booking, they told us we had to contact hotels.com to do so, when we did hotels.com said that the property owner was “non-negotiable” and would not issue a waiver to cancel even to immediately rebook for different days. Spent over an hour and a half on the phone to get this resolved. In the end hotels.com offered us a full refund on their end just to get out of dealing with these people. Expect to deal with endless AI “assistants” before you can even reach the incredibly rude and unhelpful manager. Absolutely atrocious experience.

I slept incredibly well—the bed was as comfortable as my own, with a firm mattress and supportive pillows, which is surprisingly hard to find in hotels. The hotel was also exceptionally quiet. I never heard street noise or neighbors, and I really appreciated that housekeeping kept the hallways quiet without playing music or chatting loudly, so I was never disturbed. The room is small but very thoughtfully designed, making it feel cozy rather than cramped. The lobby is a great place to work or have a snack, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Self check-in was quick and convenient with no waiting. The only downsides were the location and the bathroom. The location is convenient, but the surrounding area can feel a bit uncomfortable and somewhat unsafe due to homeless activity nearby. The shower also had a slight sewage/drain odor while in use
