a week agoA hotel located right next to the train station. Our room was very large and spacious. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite the construction site outside the window, we weren't disturbed by any noise. In fact, it was quite amusing to see a small excavator hovering past the window. We would gladly stay here again.

a week agoWeirdest bathrooms ever. Weirdest room ever. One main light switch by the front door, has to be on to use the main bathroom at night. There is no switch for the bathroom. It's motion sensitive but only works if the main light switch is on. Which means the room is bright. And if you don't move enough in the shower or on the toilet, the light clicks off. 78° outside and room temperature had to be set by the front desk.

a week agoOverall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cocoon. Pros: The hotel has a cute Alps & nature theme throughout, from the entrance and lobby to the rooms. The room was clean overall All the staff were friendly The location was amazing - really close to the city and the train station, but the surrounding streets felt safe and no issues with noise! Breakfast is pricey, especially if you purchase it on the spot (21.90 euros). However, we stayed in three different hotels during our trip in Germany, and Hotel Cocoon's breakfast was the best - you can tell that they use high quality and fresh ingredients. Cons: The room was very small and felt expensive for its size The toilet was separate from the sink and shower area, which was a bit inconvenient.
