The only good thing is the proximity to the castle!!!
The rooms were in a truly terrible state!
The bathroom mirrors were still covered in toothpaste from the previous guest.
The towels smelled so bad that I had to buy new ones in town!! Aside from the floors and tiles, which were clearly not laid professionally, the windows didn't open and close properly, and the door locks—I've never seen anything like them in a hotel before, with half the electronics exposed because they'd switched from card to key access!! You walked into the hotel and were immediately hit with a musty smell!
I could go on and on!!! €190 wasted, next time I'd rather stay further away and spend the money on an Uber!!!!!!
I have no idea how they managed to run this place into such a mess, but what looks like a construction site that could be worked on 24/7 also smells like a garbage dump. It's simply because there are cigarette butts, ashtrays, and energy gel cans under the bed, and the bathroom is moldy and the floor is sticky.
On top of that:
The light above the bed is broken, covers are missing, the extractor fan in the bathroom doesn't work, there's someone's old clothes in the closet, one phone number doesn't work, no one answers the other, etc., etc., etc.
You can leave the window slightly open and pray all you want!
We haven't even talked about everything outside the room yet, and from flickering lights like in a horror movie to a dirty floor with scuff marks, you can find it all here. Oh, and the kicker is the removed card readers that apparently used to be there, but nobody seems to know how to use them anymore, so they're handing out keys that look like they're for unlocking a shed. I don't think I've ever been so close to a truly horrific experience.
I mean, aren't you ashamed of yourselves?
I can see and smell that the bed has been freshly made. I turned the sheet over again, checked the covers and bedding, and it all looks fine. It would be enough for an emergency overnight stay if it didn't stink so incredibly badly, and I certainly don't feel comfortable in this room. The vermin can't be far away. The blaring music at 2 a.m. and the unattended phones don't help matters. Nothing has been done here since the pandemic. You can tell by the signs that are still hanging up.
Unfortunately, I arrived too late to have the time or inclination to rebook. Never again. If you can't even tell that people are smoking in your rooms, then just shut down. That's the best thing for everyone.
This is simply negligent, and you're endangering others. I'm serious.
This just demonstrates an absolute inability to change anything.

a month agoVery clean, but everything was broken. The toilet was clean, though, and the smoke detector was beeping constantly.
