a week agoI would not stay here again. I plan around having a hotel that has a usable gym. This gym was so small and so crowded in the morning, I could never work out. I need to work out on the road. I travel all the time. It's my sanity. My days are so packed. To have such a small space and have it full (literally not anything open) with people hanging around every morning is not acceptable for this level of property. Advertising a gym few people can use in the morning is worthless.

a week agoWe loved our stay at Hotel Per La! We were in town for a wedding so staying downtown ended up being the best of both worlds for well priced rooms and beautiful finishes with an uber that wouldn’t be too crazy for everything we had to do that weekend. I usually wouldn’t stay downtown, but this location was easy to get cars anywhere I wanted to go and where else in California can you stay in a beautiful updated hotel from the 1920s with a rooftop pool! The rooms were small but incredibly well appointed and laid out. The beds were so comfy and the linens were gorgeous. We were so comfortable here. On the courtyard side it was silent, and the blackout curtains were wonderful. We loved the shower, all the finishes, and the good AC. I’d stay here again and I’d recommend it to others.

a week agoAbsolutely loved our experience at the hotel pool! The atmosphere was relaxing, and the perfect place to spend the day with friends. What truly made the experience exceptional was our waiter Jose. He was beyond attentive, incredibly friendly, and always one step ahead of anything we needed. We were taken care of from start to finish. His outstanding service made us feel genuinely welcomed and elevated our entire experience. We ordered drinks through the day and he was always on top of it. Truly an amazing service! We ordered the shrimp tacos, empanadas, and the burger, and the season fries everything was delicious. My personal favorite was the burger it was incredibly juicy with a subtle sweet flavor absolutely amazing. Every bite was delicious! We can’t wait to come back and do it all over again. We live in San Diego and we will definitely be back soon.
