B&B HOTEL Paderborn

I've stayed at other B&B hotels before, and I was quite satisfied with my experience, especially since the prices were sometimes extremely low. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel, especially at the current price. The lobby still looks nice and well-maintained. However, upon entering the hallway on the third floor, you're greeted by a dirty carpet. Once you get to the room, the carpet is just as stained, and together with the worn walls, it doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere. I could easily overlook all of these things, were it not for the absolutely disgusting toilet seat! You can see the numerous urine stains left by previous guests with the naked eye and in normal light. Furthermore, the bathroom constantly reeked of urine. These two things are absolutely unacceptable to me. I expect this to be rectified so that no other guest has to endure such a situation. Addendum: Unfortunately, the parking fee was charged twice during my visit. Our emails went unanswered, and we haven't received a refund. To put it mildly, that's outrageous. Location: Anyone booking here should be aware that they'll be sleeping between a main road and several railway tracks, so it's not going to be very quiet. You can't really criticize the hotel for that; you have to be aware of it yourself. However, I've stayed in other hotels in similar locations with significantly better soundproofed doors, windows, and walls.

Absolutely catastrophic – one star is far too generous! I would actually give it minus five stars! This hotel was an absolute disgrace for us. I have rarely experienced such a run-down, dirty, and simultaneously extremely noisy place. Nothing about it is right. Even upon entering the hotel, you get a bad impression: The carpet in the hallway is covered in stains and looks filthy. The walls are dirty, and the paint is peeling off the door frames. Overall, everything looks neglected and run-down. The room was then an absolute nightmare. The bed was completely worn out, and the faux leather was already peeling. The walls were dirty, and the paint on the curtain rod was also peeling. There was mold in the bathroom. As if all that wasn't bad enough, the door between the room and the hallway wouldn't even close properly. And then there was the cleanliness of the bed: There were stains on the sheets, pillows, and duvet. This is absolutely unacceptable and simply disgusting. In a hotel, I expect at least a clean bed – that should really be the absolute minimum. Sleep was completely out of the question. On one side, trains constantly rumble by, and on the other, there's a busy main road. Even at night, you can hear cars all the time. Add to that a noisy air conditioner. The noise level is simply unbearable. The whole thing is a combination of loud, dirty, and run-down like nothing I've ever experienced. The breakfast was at least somewhat decent: three kinds of sausage, three kinds of cheese, three kinds of rolls, bread, mini-muffins, and some fruit like bananas and grapes. But even an acceptable breakfast can't compensate for the hotel's catastrophic condition. In conclusion: I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For me, it was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. I will definitely never book this hotel again, and after this experience, I will avoid the entire B&B hotel chain in the future. Minus five stars would be more appropriate than one star.

Everything was really good, the staff was very nice and friendly, you feel comfortable and would gladly come back! 👯 The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection and everything you could want. The rooms are clean and perfectly fine. The only minor drawback: The train is nearby and sometimes audible. However, this doesn't affect all rooms and isn't particularly bothersome. Overall, highly recommended!
