food is mediocre at best.
steak is overcooked — was not asked how we wanted our steak to be done. pork was too tough & the mixed roast veg beneath was too salty. the salmon needed more seasoning. the potato pancake was the only saving grace. the dessert was plain and unflavourful.
the waitress is highly unprofessional and impatient. literally shouted at us when we asked for sharing plates and even yelled at us saying that it is her second day at work. while we appreciate the stress of working in f&b, we aren’t so sure if the management should be allowing someone who is as experienced as 2 days old to be running our table without actually being familiar with the protocol.
I wouldn't recommend this place. We ordered the medium well steak, but it was overcooked—so tough we couldn't even chew it. When we asked the server, we were told that's just how it is. I left a small tip when I paid, even though I thought the food was just average, but the server didn't even say thank you. Maybe it's because we were a group of Asian diners.
