a week agoI frequent NYC a lot for work (once every month) and this hotel was the perfect location for what I do. I considered this being my new recommended place of stay for all my future business trips but after my experience, I would stay away as far away from this place as you can. Why the one star? I stayed at this hotel Jul 31st-August 2nd with 3 other friends for a birthday trip and all was well until we returned home and were charged with a $350 smoking fee. Now, none of us smoke. I am an asthmatic that cannot be around smoke without getting sick. None of the people in our group smoke either which was shocking to hear that. Our group provided my CONFIDENTIAL medical records via email to the hotel manager Mohammad and politely explained the situation and how they may have mistaken us for another room to no recourse. I’ve stayed at many hotels within New York and I have never had this experience. I’d much rather stay at a further location or spend more money at a better hotel with actual amenities than to be charged a sketchy fee.

a week agoEveryone was incredibly friendly! The room was spacious compared to others in NYC. We were coming from another hotel, and this one took care of everything! They serve coffee all day. In the afternoon, they offer wine and snacks. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast; they could offer a bit more variety. The service was quick and excellent, as was the cleanliness.
