The woman from Security, “Marie,” who was in charge, was absolutely horrible and gave this hotel a very bad impression. Instead of helping us book a room, she kicked us out and treated us as though we were asking to stay for free. We paid over $500 for a room, and this is the type of treatment we received? Completely unacceptable. I also witnessed her kicking other guests out and using profanity toward them. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from a hotel, especially one charging its guests this much. Management should seriously address this employee’s behavior and the way guests are being treated. 0 Stars for service

The hotel staff are often unfriendly and respond with the bare minimum, frequently without making eye contact. On one occasion, after I coughed in the lobby, a staff member mimicked me. A lost item went unaccounted for for weeks, but was found within an hour after I pointed out that its tracker showed it was at the hotel. Requests also go unanswered for weeks. Unfortunately, I’m required to keep using this hotel for business for the time being. However, for the price, I would recommend that leisure travellers consider the hotels nearby.

NOT RETIRED MILITARY FRIENDLY!!! Was recently denied the Military Rate that I reserved, and used at this same property two months previously, because I have a retired military ID card rather than an active duty or federal employee ID. I have been both retired military and a Starwood/Bonvoy member for 20 years - having signed up for Starwood membership on a family trip to celebrate my retirement after 26 years in uniform; and I this is the first time I have ever been denied the military rate (that I've successfully booked countless numbers of times). The Assistant Manager at the desk when I checked in was initially not helpful and wanted me to pay the rack rate (over twice what I reserved). After looking further into the rate details I realize that the rate is supposed to be for those on 'official business', but the GM admitted they don't enforce the 'official business' requirement by just checking for an active duty or federal employee ID. Eventually, the GM gave me a reduced rate, but still higher that the reserved military rate, but it's clear that he has the prerogative to extend the rate to retired military, but chooses not to. Word of warning to other military retirees, so you don't get embarrassed upon check-in, as I did in front of multiple other guests waiting to check-in. The staff's rote "Thank you for your service" rings hollow when they treat retired military as they do. To add insult to injury, as a Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I've tried to leave a review on the Bonvoy app, but it hasn't posted and I cannot get reason as to why from either the hotel staff or Bonvoy customer service.
