The rooms are small, but that's due to the building's design. Nevertheless, I'd stay there again anytime.

Got bug bites all over my legs on my first night here. Room was right by the street so you can hear all the noise outside at night.

If you are looking for a perfect value for money hotel at perfect location, this you must consider this hotel. You won’t feel ultra luxurious, but the hotel is decent enough with neat and clean rooms, good location and a very courteous and polite staff. They also provide a complimentary breakfast and have a dine in area with very good ambiance. Location of this hotel is also perfect and you can walk to the most of the locations. The complimentary breakfast could have more variety. Right now it’s very basic and they provide just the bare minimum. But if you can manage this, it’s a great place which will provide an excellent value!

Surprisingly, it was a very clean accommodation for $130 a night—that's really the price for downtown SF! (This price would definitely get you a super luxurious night in Taipei XD) The white tiles in the bathroom were completely free of mold, perfectly demonstrating the hotel's commitment to cleanliness 👍🏾 It reminded me of my trip to SF in 2022. Back then, I stayed in a renovated century-old building, with its old-fashioned wood tones, cramped space, but still expensive… also near Union Square! I think it was a hotel near a tunnel exit. Looking back at that SF trip now, I realize it set the tone for my current travel style, including how to get to know a city, how to explore, how to walk, how to have a comprehensive understanding of the space around me… that's where it all began
