in the last week🚨 **Buyer beware: CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS** 🚨 I frequently stay at Hilton properties for business travel, and this was by far my most troubling experience. I stayed 7/31/26–8/3/26 using 70,000 points plus money payment. I am extremely concerned about billing errors and an unexplained $500 charge that management has yet to address. At check-in, I was told my room upgrade was complimentary due to my member status, and I was given a daily restaurant credit. No other charges were explained. **The billing issue is the most serious concern:** At checkout, I requested an itemized receipt after receiving a notice accusing me of smoking in the room and imposing a $500 fee. I did NOT smoke in the room, and I dispute this charge completely. The receptionist initially presented a total of **$1,221**, then acknowledged the hotel had incorrectly overcharged me approximately **$400 for the supposedly complimentary upgrade** and removed that charge. However, she insisted the $500 smoking fee remained unless I were to file a card dispute, and could not explain the additional “Other” fees on the corrected receipt, which showed approximately $832 due. Despite that, my card was ultimately charged **$1,014**. I was also told there were **no managers onsite**, and the receptionist declined to provide manager contact information. No manager has contacted me since. Other issues included: • **Restaurant:** Over 2 hours waiting for dinner (7:00–9:15 PM), followed by overcooked food. • **Room:** Dust accumulated underneath/around furniture, inadequate amenities for an “upgraded” room, and incompatible coffee pods. • **Overall service:** I did not feel valued as a Hilton guest, particularly given my loyalty and status. I am not looking for a canned response. I am requesting that this billing issue be **reviewed and escalated to hotel management/corporate**, including the removal of the $500 charge, an explanation for the unexplained other fees, and why my final card charge was $1,014 despite the “corrected” receipt. I have retained the receipts, notice, and card documentation supporting these concerns. Please investigate and make this right, otherwise I would never be able in good faith to recommend this hotel to anyone.

a week agoGood hotel overall. It is clean and nice, but 2 stars off because of the parking and the location. There are plenty of places just a 2-minute walk away where you can leave your car overnight for $20-30, while the hotel charges $80. That’s ridiculous. The location isn’t great either. It’s basically Zombieland around there.

a week agoThe $40 per night charge is a joke. Plus there seem to be other nightly fees. They give you a daily $15 food credit but there are restrictions on using it. They’ve over gamified staying at a hotel to over charge you.

a week agoLoved it. Great service from Rogelio and Monica- Rogelio set the tone for the whole stay from check-in, he was welcoming and made everything effortless. The room was spacious, I loved the bathtub with the big window and the wrap-around windows - so much natural light. Great bed and amenities, very comfortable and clean. Perfectly situated, just a few blocks from Union Square and a short stroll to Fisherman's Wharf. You can walk everywhere near Macy's, Trader Joe's and other stores, felt safe.
