in the last weekStayed Aug 23–29, room 0724. Booked two queens; got a king. Hotel brought a rollaway bed for my 7-year-old daughter. Within days she had nearly 20 bites across both legs — no one in the main bed was bitten. Classic bed bug pattern. Hotel moved us, said they "inspected" the room and found nothing. Never received the inspection report. Never asked whether the rollaway itself was checked. Requested compensation — none offered. Filed with Hyatt Guest Relations Aug 30 (case CAS6790350). Three weeks later: not a single reply. Nice location. Won't be back, and if you have kids, ask what bed they're putting them on.

in the last weekYou might get the urge to splurge for a “water view” I am here to tell you beware. The constant street noise and music will definitely keep you up all night. Unless you’re into that kind of noise. The music sounded like it was in the room or right outside the window. It took all the fun away from having a room with the view of the bay. I had zero rest my entire stay and couldn’t wait to get away from the music. I have serious regret spending the extra money for the bay view There is a corner ferry building room that is roughly 100sq you need to stay away from. It’s basically a closet with a bed. It’s so small! The rooms have paper thin walls and you will hear your neighbors upstairs and the ones next to you so pray you get some good neighbors. Rooms have no USB-C plugs so be prepared. The location is great, easy to get around town with the bart and cable car right outside. Service from the staff is friendly and efficient The lobby is really nice and spacious but the food from the restaurant is ok at best.

in the last weekExtremely disappointing experience — poor communication and serious billing issues I stayed here for three nights, and unfortunately the experience became increasingly frustrating. At check-in, I was told about the $20 daily food & beverage credit, but the front desk did not clearly explain that it was only valid at the restaurant and not at the adjacent Market. As a first-time guest, I reasonably misunderstood the benefit. When I later went to the front desk to clarify, I was given contradictory information. One employee told me my Market purchase had already been “applied” and explicitly told me I would have another $20 credit on both Saturday and Sunday. The next morning, the Market staff told us something completely different, forcing me to return to the front desk for a third time. Another employee then contradicted the previous explanation again and manually added the Sunday credit. Unfortunately, the problems continued at checkout. My initial folio contained a $30+ breakfast charge for a breakfast I never had. I had only purchased a Mexican burrito from the Market. There was also a $15 coffee charge despite being told that the coffee was complimentary. The manager eventually confirmed that the breakfast charge had been incorrectly signed/posted and agreed to remove it and waive the remaining Destination Fee. What was especially frustrating was that by the end of the stay, I also noticed that the charge for the Mexican burrito I actually purchased was no longer showing on my folio. Mistakes happen, but this was not one isolated mistake. Throughout the stay, I repeatedly received conflicting information and had to discover and correct billing issues myself. I should not have to audit my hotel bill to find charges for things I never consumed, nor visit the front desk three times to get a basic hotel benefit explained correctly. The manager eventually addressed the immediate billing problems, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was far below what I expect from a Hyatt property. The biggest issue was not the $20 credit — it was the lack of clear communication, inconsistent information, and lack of confidence I could have in the accuracy of my own folio.
