in the last weekThe hotel overall looked tired and in need of maintenance. The lobby looked sad. The rug in our room was torn, the windows were so dirty we could hardly see out of them. The valet service was terrible. The positives were the linens were nice and clean, and the restaurant was pretty good. The union square area is now a complete disgrace. I would not stay here again.

in the last weekMy wife and I have stayed in the corner suite several times and really enjoy it. Great location. Close to Union Square and walkable to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and the Jazz District. The service has been friendly each time. It's easy to drive to from the East Bay. We do the valet parking and is super convenient. The lobby is beautiful and we love the giant fireplace and in another room there is a lovely library room. This one of our favorite places to stay in SF.
